One of the great protagonists of the 43rd edition of the Festival was Pere Casanellas, with a simplicity and way of being that won us all over from the first moment. The film he presented, Pedro - Life in the Mountains (Alexander Stratigenas. Switzerland. 2023), a documentary born from the esteem that his neighbors in Ticino feel for him, It led us, through a series of welcome coincidences, to discover an unexpected, emotional and endearing story of a first-rate mountaineer and adventurer, who left his homeland and the Manlleu where he was born to end up settling between the Montblanc and the Matterhorn. 

Moments after presenting the documentary to us, Pere explained how it was recorded, his life in Switzerland and took stock of a day full of emotions and reunions.
