KINGS OF THE FOREST

In Nepal, the Raute people describe themselves as Ban Ko Raja, meaning "Kings of the Forest." This nomadic tribe, isolated as mountain hunter-gatherers, lives in a closed society of fewer than 125 individuals. The Raute, whose culture, traditions, and values are slowly disappearing, are the last nomadic people of Nepal and one of the last nomadic mountain tribes on Earth.
