In Georgia, the customs of the Ushguli mountains in the Caucasus dictate that, in the absence of a son, a family's land must be passed on to the next male relative, who will perpetuate the family name. The short film follows the journey of an aspiring singer as she fights for her property against the antiquated local norms and traditions. Her song becomes a stronghold against humiliation.
