IT'S WINTER
Sajad Imani. Iran. 2025. 72’
In a mountainous region of Iran, 16-year-old Sogol and six-year-old Delaram share a quiet, almost primitive life, bound together as if they were sisters. They face growing threats from industrial pollution and the suffocating oppression of patriarchal norms that shape their isolated world. As winter approaches, a darker truth about Sogol’s life begins to emerge.
