In 1965 Jim Whittaker, the first American to conquer Everest, climbed a remote mountaintop in the Yukon for the first time. The peak was later called Mt. Kennedy in honour of the president of the United States. On that first ascent, Robert Kennedy, brother of the president and himself also murdered, participated. The children of the two protagonists attempt to revive their parents ascent in a documentary about friendship, human rights, the environment and adventure.
