Round table: EINVASIVE SPECIES IN THE PYRENEES, A THREAT TO BIODIVERSITY?
Invasive species represent one of the primary challenges for the conservation of ecosystems in the Pyrenees. Their spread can displace native species, alter habitats, disrupt the ecological balance, and affect human activities. In this round table, we will reflect on the current and future impacts of this phenomenon, as well as the challenges involved in detecting and controlling invasive species.
With Marc Garriga (Director of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park), Mireia Baqué (CREAF), and representatives from the Rural Agents (Agents Rurals).
Moderator: Quim Pons (Chief Editor of Vèrtex magazine)
