Kinnaur is a tribal district in India located between Tibet and the Gangetic Plain. Currently, Kinnaur faces the problem of the diffusion of new economic models. After centuries of agricultural and livestock activities that respected the environment, the apple monoculture has multiplied the availability of money by a hundred, upsetting the perspective of the existence of its inhabitants. It is a useful model to understand the impact of climate change in the Himalayas
