The 2009 Edition Presented

The Caixa Sabadell Mountain Film Festival (Torelló, November from 13th to 22nd) has been officially presented this morning in presence of the president of Caixa Sabadell Mr. Salvador Soley, the Major of Torelló Mr. Miquel Franch the Festival Director Mr. Joan Salarich. At least there are 27 films that had entered in the contest, from 13 different countries; they have mountain, mountain sports and ecology as main characters. During the Festival we’ll have the presence of Jean Afanassieff to receive the golden Edelweiss of honour; Lous Audoubert will also be in the Festival and we’ll take advantage to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Catalan ascent to the south face of Annapurna by Nil Boihigas and Enric Lucas. These are some of the newness of the present year but we also propose you, lectures exhibitions, coffee-talks with the guests and the presence of film-makers and main characters of the films!  Do you really want to lose anything? From now we are going to ask something about the Festival in our Facebook place (be fan at TORELLOMOUNTAINFILM). You will easily find the answer looking at our web site. Try to find the solution and send an e-mail to: press@torellomountainfilm.cat  and you will enter in the one of the five tickets raffle that will be given for each of the 15 sessions you can see in the contest!!!.
